Taco Tuesdays: Hunger St. Tacos

Happy Tuesday, friends! Whether you engage in #TransformationTuesday, #TuesdayBoozeday, or #ToastTuesday, I think the one we ALL need to take part in is #TacoTuesday, am I right? Maybe I just think that because Mexican food is my favorite kind of grub. But, whatever the reason, it's always a good idea for margs and guac. Do not fight me on that!! Basically, I'm starting a series on my blog called Taco Tuesdays where I'll be going around to local Mexican Restaurants in the Winter Park/Orlando area (& maybe a few places I find while traveling) and giving y'all feedback on the food, ambience, and overall restaurant experience; along with rad photos, of course.

For the first Taco Tuesday, I headed over to Hunger St. Tacos in Winter Park! What initially drew me to this place was the dope murals on the outside of the building. If you're ever in Winter Park driving down Fairbanks, it's the white building with the huge colorful wall painting on the outside of it! You can't miss it, lol. Anyways, I brought Lucas along so we could try more than one taco. I got the taco Tuesday combo special of 2 tacos + a side. I ordered the Pollo Taco and Chori-Pollo taco (chicken taco & chorizo/chicken taco). Lucas ordered 4 tacos and a side, which I don't think was a combo special but #yolo. We both got the Esquites side, which is basically corn cooked in broth, queso, and other goodness. To be quite honest, the tacos were small; which is a good thing because they do fill you up! However, they were a little on the dryer side; so if you go, I would ask for extra avocado-lime salsa, or whatever your preference is! Lucas and I both LOVED the Esquites side though, so do get them if you decide to go.
