Like I said in my previous post, this week we are in Aspen, CO. My family has been coming out here twice a year, once in the winter and once in the summer, for as long as I remember and we always get the pleasure of staying in unbelievable houses. This time around, we are staying on a breathtaking ranch in Basalt, a town about 20 minutes out of Aspen. The house is two stories and scattered with windows that fill the rooms with light in the mornings. There's a balcony just off of the kitchen that overlooks the entire backyard, which happens to hold a barn, pond, and endless land that blends into the mountainous horizon. However, I think my favorite part is how the ranch gives off total farm vibes. Colorado is a very rustic, nature livin', outdoorsy place. But mix it with piles of hay, fourwheelers, horses, and neighbors that sell farm fresh eggs and it's the coolest place to exist in the world. In my opinion, at least.
If you know me or follow my blog, you know that I love to dress according to my environment. That being said, I had to throw on a barn appropriate fit and this one is just that. What I love about this outfit is that it's chic enough to go into town for dinner, but casual enough to hit up the Rodeo on a Wednesday night. The key to great outfits is always versatility!
