This past weekend I visited my best friend from high school in Auburn, Alabama where she goes to school, for the Alpha Psi Rodeo! I used to consider myself "somewhat country," only because I'm from Florida, I grew up on the lake and beaches, I was raised on country music, and I like beer. Lol, seems logical, right? However, after visiting Alabama, I will never ever call myself country again. Not even a little bit. This is why traveling is one of my biggest passions; I get to see different ways of life and be exposed to an entirely different culture than I'm used to. You realize things about yourself when you surround yourself with people, places, and things that are very different than what you like or what you're used to. Even though I appreciate Alabama, had a good freaking time at the rodeo, and really enjoyed the cute little college town, I so do not fit in there! But that's so cool to me!!!! I find it so special that each of us have our own individual ways of lives and vibes, and that there are actually places where we truly feel at home. Even though I felt super out of place there, my friend Abby is in her element. She thrives there and it's so crazy cool to me that people can connect so well, but still be so different in so many ways!!! Appreciate everyone's differences and cherish how special it is that you are your own individual that has their own special place in this world!! Anyways, enough of my rant, here are some photos of rodeo and outfit details of course!!! Also, S/O to Abby for being the best host & an awesome friend. I still miss your bomb oatmeal & delicious coffee /:
