It's now 3 days post Post Malone concert, and I am still deep in that post Post depression. Post Malone has been one of my favorite artists for a while now. I remember listening to White Iverson on the way to school every morning of my senior year in high school. Dunkin Donuts iced coffee in my hand, sunnies on (because yes, my obsession with sunglasses started young), and the volume all the way up. Okay, it was probably the insane amount of sugar in my french vanilla iced coffee that was makin' me JAM TF OUT to White Iverson at 7:45 am, but it is safe to say I have been a Post fan since day one. After seeing him in concert this week, my love for him has been taken to a whole new level. I haven't been to a ton of concerts, but I've been to enough and his at Red Rocks this past Wednesday was hands down the best concert I've ever been too. Maybe it's because I knew every word to every song, or because the Red Rocks venue is absolutely breathtaking, but either way I am already looking at concert tickets to his other shows. I've been to concerts where there's a million props, an insane light show, back up dancers; the whole works. That's all fun and cool, however, there's something so incredible about an artist who can stand on stage alone and captivate you with simply his voice and his music. Post was so raw, so authentic, undeniably real, and so so talented. I swear he sounded the exact same, if not better, live. It was even more amazing because not only did he play songs from Stoney, but he also sang a few from his new album like Stay (my freakin' favorite), Takin' Shots, and Over Now. Also, I will forever be LIVING for his dance moves. Let's be real, if Post Malone was not his talented self, you wouldn't look at him twice. The gold teeth and braids don't necessarily do it for me, ya know? But something about him was WORKING at the concert. Currently planning out my marriage proposal to him. Anyways, I'm sure you're over hearing me geek out about Post, so here are some photos from the concert. BEFORE I GO, if you're thinking about going to see him in concert, DO IT. It is SO worth it. POST FOREVER BBY.
