september intentions

Setting intentions is one of the best ways to practice mindfulness, get in touch with your truest self, and live your best life. It’s something that I definitely don’t do every month, but find I’m most productive — and well, intentional about my time, actions, and behavior when I do. Usually, my intentions exist on their own without being broken into categories. However, this month I decided to break them into three sections — Mind, Body, & Spirit. That makes it seem like I’m a super zen yogi with a lotus flower tattoo — I’m not. I just feel as though these three elements encompass every part of my being that I want to tend to this month:

MIND

be patient

be intentional

be true to myself

be kind

be unwavering in the belief of My value & potential

be productive & efficient

BODY

Love on it more

incorporate more R&R

do orange theory 3x a week

do yoga once a week OR stretch for 20 minutes at home

nourish with more nutrient dense foods & Less processed foods

Consume Gentle CAFFEINE like tea & matcha instead of coffee

SPIRIT

breathe for 1-2 minutes every morning

no technology in bedroom after 9 pm

read before bed

adventure every weekend

“dress up” at least once a week

take disposables

write every morning

get outside every day
