Yesterday the group sort of split up and my parents and Lucas and I rode two different bike trails! My mom and dad rode Owl Creek which takes you all the way from Aspen to Snowmass. They said majority of it was literally straight uphill and that they had to actually get off their bikes at some points and walk it up, lol! I guess you can say Lucas and I had the easier bike ride. We took the Rio Grande trail all the way from Aspen, down to Woody Creek Tavern and decided we'd have lunch there. It was easy up until we hopped on our bikes after eating beef enchiladas and hamburgers. My seat was AWFUL and it was all uphill on the way back. Mind you, the trail was 2 miles paved, 4 miles dirt, and another 3 miles paved; so really, the whole bike ride was 18 miles. Thank god it was gorgeous.

After our bike ride, we headed straight to our friend Karen's, boyfriend's ranch! When we got there we pet and fed the horses (they had like 15) and also got the pleasure to meet his 59 hens and 1 rooster, lol! It was hilarious; I got the whoooollllee cock-a-doodle-doo of the rooster on video! Just before dinner we took the most beautiful evening stroll up the mountain in these ATV sort of vehicles. The mountains and how deserty it looked was actually reminding us a lot of South Africa. It was absolutely magical. This place is totally God's country.

We head to Denver tomorrow to spend the night and hop on the plane early Sunday morning and boy, are we dreading it. We could all move here tomorrow if the opportunity was there, lol! Truly is my favorite place in the country.
